Geeta Pearson (Montreal/Canada)
Consistence of the performances had two sequences:
Piano and vocals: lyrical soundtrack, soul and poetry
Vocals and technology: exploration, introspection and freedom
Geeta is a self-taught, multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter, artist and producer from Montreal. She is influenced by electronic sounds, cinematographic moods and grooves, dark pop, rock’n roll, new wave, visual arts, poetry, dreams, gravity and wonderlands.
During her stay at the ‘Art Commune’ AIR Program in Armenia Geeta realized her researches and gave powerful live performances at follow clubs: Process Club, Tom Collins and Music Factory.
Geeta Pearson has collaborated with several international artists in music, cinema, multi-media and video games and fashion. She participated at the Glastonbury Festival in England, NXNE Festival in Toronto, New Cinema Festival, Montreal en lumières, Festival des Voix D’Amériques,International literature Festival, Fringe Festival and Pop Montreal, Degeneration Festival in Czech Republic… Geeta has toured all over Europe in 2014.Geeta has also performed more then 200 shows in theatres, club, festivals, as well as produced her own choir in 2013 with 30 singers. She received several grants from the Quebec Council of Arts to produce and perform new projects and develop ideas in Art residencies not only in Armenia, but also in Spain and Canada.
